During it´s 13th international conference, held in Karlsruhe from September 6th-8th, 2013, QFF initiated the process of further bundling all powers of European football fans commitment towards the fight against discrimination based on sexual orientation. The queer fan club governing body changed its charter and now enables non-fan-organizations to participate within the network. First new member to join was the renowned association FußballfansgegenHomophobie e. V. (http://fussballfansgegenhomophobie.blogsport.de/). QFF spokesman, Dirk Brüllau regards this as: "One step to further join the powers, which are dedicated towards the fight against homophobia and sexism." Further he pointed out, that "QFF becomes even more international as Den Haag based fan club Roze Règâhs from the Netherlands has been welcomed to the organization." Two new supporter clubs from Germany also joined during the Karlsruhe conference: RuhrZebras (MSV Duisburg) and QueerFox (SC Freiburg). Europeanwide, QFF now consists of 25 member organizations and fan clubs Dirk Brüllau further explained: "Through it´s members QFF will give advisory guidance towards the implementation of the "Berlin Declaration" (www.fussball-fuer-vielfalt.de) in the different football clubs. QFF will assist all interest groups continuously in fan-related-matters" The next (14th) international conference will be held January 10th - 12th, 2014 in Cologne.
