FairPlay-VIDC is coordinating one of three Austrian projects that are funded by the European Commission thrugh the Erasmus + programme for sport projects.

FairPlay-VIDC conducted in cooperation with European partner organisations from 2011-12 the EU funded project "Sport Inclusion Network". In 2014 a training for juveniles and an exchange of practical methods took place with support of the "Youth in Action" programme. Last year FairPlay-VIDC worked intensively on the application of a follo-up project in the framework of the new EU funding programme in sport Erasmus +.

"ESPIN - Promoting Equal Opportunities of Migrants and Minorities through Volunteering in Sport" is running from January 2015 to December 2016, the European partners are Football Association of Ireland (FAI), the Portuguese players union SJPF, the Italian sports association Unione Italiana Sport Per Tutti (UISP), the Hungarian human rights organisation Mahatma Gandhi Emberi Jogi Egyesület, the Finnish sports organisation Liikkukaa ry and from Germany Camino, the workshop for further education, practice guidance and research in the social area.

The ESPIN (European Sport Inclusion Network) project aims to foster equal participation from migrants and ethnic minorities in organised sports by voluntary work. The first SPIN project (2011-12) had the contradiction of exclusion and inclusion of migrants through sports as the main topic, especially in the field of leading positions.
