Below are some excerpts of his interview:

Why did you first get involved in the Football People weeks?
"I have been abused by racism and because those things happened to me, I try to be involved and I want to help those people who don't have a voice to control this situation."

Fare research shows more than 825 incidents in the last three years, what does this say to you?
"It tells me a lot but what we are looking to do is to try and stop those idiotic people doing that. We have to be focused and have fair play everywhere."

What are your hopes for the Russia 2018 World Cup?
"Everyone is talking about Russia maybe being a little bit difficult. But I hope that Russia surprises everybody by trying to make something very nice."
