„Emotion won´t hurt“ - 12th international conference of QFF

Upcoming weekend the 12th international conference of the LGBT- football fanclubs is going to take place at Duisburg/ Germany.

True to the motto „Emotion won´t hurt“ the LGBT- football fanclub „RainbowZebras“ is going to host the spring conference of QFF. From 22nd to 24th of March, 2013 the LGBT- football fanclubs of Europe will meet for their 12th international Conference in Duisburg.
More than eighty members are getting together again, amongst them many delegates of the eighteen German and three Suisse football fanclubs, representing more than 800 gay and lesbian football supporters.
Starting with a „warm up“ at Friday night, the Saturday will take consideration of the tradition of this former toiler- footballclub: it will be worked! For the first time QFF organizes four workshops, where delegates will have the opportunity to discuss about fan culture, international team play and cooperation with other LGBT organisations. Furthermore an new head of directors will be elected fort he next two years by the delegates. At noon an action based on the „International week against rassism“ is occuring.
The day will be completed by „Euphoria“, a party in the old fire station of Duisburg.
 
„We are glad having the chance to live diversity of QFF again and to be in cahoots for anti discrimination in peacable disposition“, outlines Lars Wessel for the head of directors.
