fairplay initiative: Russian Open Games – 26 February to 02 March 2014

In opposition to the homophobic anti-“propaganda”-law in Russia, an LGBT sports event will be held in Moscow parallel to the Olympic Games in Sotschi to show the participation of LGBTS in sport and celebrate visibility and fight for human rights. The Russian Open Games will run from 26 February-2 March 2014 and are the first ever bigger LGBT sportevent im Russia.

Also a befriended NGO, the German Women’s Soccer Team “Discover Football”, will take part.
